Contact

Corrections, source questions, licence notes, and privacy requests all go to one mailbox.

Write to [email protected] — one address for the hub and every publication. We read every message but may not reply immediately.

What to write about

The most useful messages point out a specific date that disagrees with its official source, or a source link that has moved or been renamed. We also welcome reports of licence or attribution wording that needs correcting, pages that fail to load or render, and privacy requests under the Privacy Act 2020. Suggestions for a country desk we do not yet cover are read, though the list is short and additions depend on finding an official source whose licence allows commercial republication.

Reporting a date error

For a date you believe is wrong, include four things: the country, the year, the date as shown on the page, and the official gazette, government page or open-data file you checked against. A link to the source, or a short quotation from it, lets us confirm the position quickly. If you are comparing the page with an employer's or a school's calendar rather than the official list, say so, because those calendars can add days that are not public holidays.

How corrections work

Every date on this site is read from the official source when the site is built. When a report arrives we check the source first. If the page has misread or mislabelled a date, we correct the build and regenerate the site. If the source itself has been revised, the page will show the revised date the next time it is rebuilt. We do not overwrite source dates by hand, and we do not add a holiday that no official source publishes.

What we cannot do

We cannot correct the official source itself, and we cannot supply a date the producer has not released. If the date on the page matches the source, the page is working as intended even when a local observance seems to differ from it. We cannot answer requests for legal, employment or leave advice; the tables are a reference, not a determination of entitlement.

Response

We read messages sent to the address above, but this is a small publication and we cannot promise a reply time or a reply to every message. A correction, once made, appears the next time the site is rebuilt; pages are not edited silently between builds.

Privacy requests

If you want to ask what personal information we hold, request access to it, or ask for a correction, use the same address and say what you want us to do. The privacy page explains what the site collects and what it does not. The site has no accounts, so there is normally no record to delete, but we will answer a request under the Privacy Act 2020.
